Ready to explore? Bring your bike or rent one from the various bike rental companies in the area and explore 33 miles of trails in Hocking Hills State park. You’ll find a variety of bike trails suitable to any rider’s abilities. From challenging downhill rides to leisurely lakeside cruises, Hocking Hills offers an abundance of bike trails you won’t want to miss.

Hocking Hills State Park offers both paved and unpaved trails for you to set out and explore. Hocking Hills Bike Rentals LLC has recently opened and is renting e-mountain bikes that offers assistive technology. They describe their bikes as “An e-mountain bike is a mountain bike with a battery powered motor that provides assistance to the peddler. It makes peddling up hills as easy or as hard as you want. It doesn’t have a ‘throttle’ like a motorcycle, just a wonderfully responsive assist when you peddle.”

The 21 mile paved bike trail at Hockhocking Adena Bikeway extends from Nelsonville to Athens just past Ohio University. For a more scenic route, the park offers 4 miles of mountain bike trails on two separate loops including a beginner trail and more advanced trail. Download the map below to see more.
