We had a great experience and rented the Lily Pad. Had an issue with the hot tub which was addressed immediately. I would recommend them but would say families with kids should stay at their main compound and have use of the pool there. Happy with our stay.

Our gathering at Chalets HH was an absolute delight for our group of family and friends! Surprisingly close to Columbus, Chalets HH made for the perfect mini-vacation. Its proximity to hiking trails made it a breeze for us to explore the natures beauty together. The stunning views of sprawling forests and rolling hills created a peaceful, calming atmosphere that set the stage for quality time and unforgettable moments.
Everyone in our group raved about the cozy, welcoming vibe of the chalet, and the wonderfully therapeutic hot tub was a crowd favorite—pure relaxation after a day of trail adventures! It was the perfect spot to unwind and share stories under the stars. The chalet’s thoughtful design and serene surroundings made it feel like our own private retreat, ideal for bonding with loved ones.

We’re already planning our return this fall to soak in the vibrant foliage and make more cherished memories together. Chalets HH is a fantastic choice for any group of family and friends looking for an affordable, nature-filled getaway. Highly recommend.

We loved our visit! Staff was warm, friendly, and helpful!
It was easy to reach our pod and we enjoyed our 1 hour stay. The temperature was perfect (80* celsius) and the view was superb.
An FYI for first timers.. the "changing room" is more of a closet. Wasn't an issue, just unexpected with our group of 4 thinking we could change in the "room".

Last night of a 4 day stay and I can't believe how nice this place is. I have stayed in various cabins, for special events, for the last 3 years. It's calm and peaceful and if you do everything right, you don't even have to talk to anyone. You set everything up online and the day of your stay you get a text & phone call with the door lock code and all of the specifics. The cabins are very clean and very well maintained. Any issue that I've had has been fixed in 10 minutes or less. It's close to everything to do in the area and pets are allowed for a small fee.
I highly suggest this group's cabins and I will definitely be back.

The Chalets made for a great weekend getaway! Booking was incredibly simple, and the email updates made sure I didn't miss anything. Check-in and check-out were effortless. And when I did have to call the office, Matt -- I believe his name was Matt, but I forgot to write it down -- was incredibly personable and helpful with my questions and maintenance addressed the low water level in the hot tub almost immediately. They've earned a customer for life! I highly, highly recommend!

I had a great experience at the Chalets in Hocking Hills! I stayed in one of the A-Frames. It was clean, in great condition, check-in was timely and gave all the info to access the property, and it was very convenient to the hiking trials. I defintiely recommend for a weekend getaway!

my partner booked us here for my birthday. we stayed in an a-frame and had a great time. it rained the whole stay so we didn't get to do any hiking but sitting in the hot tub with the pitter patter on the roof was perfect.

Hello. We haven't stayed here yet, but just booked the A Frame Chalet for April. Reading the reviews, they are from one extreme to the other. Should we be concerned with uncleanness inside and in the hot tub?

Very spacious, inside and out. Modern rustic cabin. We were very pleased with our accommodations. Did not travel with any kids. But if we had, they would have had no problems occupying their time with the pool table and board games. We would stay here again...

We used the Sauna Pods on a quick trip down to Hocking Hills. They did not disappoint! They were clean and the Bluetooth speaker setup was easy. Your own playlist and a gorgeous view was well worth it. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed in the Ravine. Clean, comfortable, and private. A beautiful, quiet view of the ravine behind the property. We had a great time and were only minutes from all the Hocking Hills attractions yet felt miles away from real life. We are already discussing coming back.

We rented a A frame cabin for a mini honeymoon,we absolutely loved everything about the cable and then our surroundings,was absolutely beautiful,i.woke up and was at peace out on the back deck having my coffee and listening to all the sweet songs of nature! At first we thought,yea a Lil pricey,but given its the summer season,was well worth every penny we spent! We will definitely be back for another and hopefully longer stay! Thank you all for everything!

We had a great stay at the Chalets. We stayed in A Frame #15. It was clean, comfortable and peaceful. You have a great view from the back porch. The hot tub and pool were very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

Booked 2 cabins in the Conkles Hollow area and they were perfect! Within walking distance of each other, on a private road. Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay! Loved that we were able to use the indoor fireplace and covered hot tub on a rainy night. Will definitely book again.

We stayed on legends lane in the newly constructed Chalets and we loved then. The planning and construction of these little cottages is great. Whoever did the decorating knows what they are doing. We enjoyed quiet nights in the hot tub after long days of hiking around Hocking Hills. The Chalets are centrally located to everything you might need to during your stay. I had a slight mishap and knocked a shelf off the wall, and Dannie and the maintenance staff were great to deal with. The customer service Staff attitude and willingness to help is at a level you won't find many places anymore. The pool was great and clean, as well was the grounds and all facilities. All in all of your looking to stay near Hocking Hills Park and anywhere in that general area, you will be doing yourself a disservice if you stay anywhere else.

We rented the A frame cabin and it did not disappoint!!! Beautiful views from the hot tub and the cabin was just enough for us. Old mans cave is right down the road followed by cedar falls and ash cave! All three were breathtaking! We highly recommend The Chalets and will definitely be staying with them again! The A-frame I stayed in was simple yet cute. Everything was clean upon arrival, and the location (literally minutes down the road from Hocking Hills State Park) is unbeatable. I appreciated the fireplace and hot tub, and used both multiple times throughout my stay. Some important elements to consider for future guests: the beds in the chalets are full size, which is can be a bit tight for two full adults. In addition, the wifi is pretty spotty— bring your own entertainment/DVDs and pretend it’s 1998. Finally, the fridge is mini sized and there aren’t any ovens in the a-frames, so plan accordingly.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Chalets and would absolutely return!

Elk cabin was so nice. It was a perfect getaway. beautiful cabin. gorgeous views. so clean. It had everything we needed to cook dinner. love the hot tub. will definitely book again. thank you for the wonderful memories we made there. I only regret not having cash to leave a tip for housekeeping.

We just left today from the Coyote cabin. I was super pleased! The cabin was super clean and secluded, the hot tub was perfect, The views were beautiful. We took our two young kids and they had a great time as well! I have no complaints, we had a great time!

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. Everything was clean and I loved the robes, they were a nice touch with the hot tub. Bed was SUPER comfortable and the whole place was very private. My only complaint, and I must say - it’s kind of a big one, is the water. We stayed for 4 days and could not shower because the water smelled absolutely rancid. When I first turned on the shower my husband came in about a minute later and actually vomited out the bathroom window from the sulfur stench in the water. I would really recommend installing some kind of water filter or something to help. I’ve used well water many times in my life and I’ve never experienced anything Iike this. The smell permeated the entire cabin when the shower was on just for a few short minutes, no way I’d EVER wash my hair in it it would smell disgusting! We had to sit outside for a while and let the smell dissipate before we could go back in. Everything else was really top notch - easy check in, beautiful views, lots to do. But man the water experience was ROUGH.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Pioneer cabin. It's decorated beautifully & everything was in great shape. The spa was clean, a tad warmer than we wanted so we turned it down a couple of degrees! We never turned on the TV or radio, tuned into Mother Nature. Can't wait to return when it's not so hot & humid to enjoy Hocking Hills Park & your facilities!

The visitors center here was absolutely gorgeous. Free maps of all the hiking trails were available. Public bathrooms. Lots of places to sit and take in the scenery. We were blown away by the beauty and the history lesson we took in the day we visited. We plan on going back again and again.

Loved everything about this place ! The Cabin was very clean and very well stocked . The Hot Tub on the deck was my favorite.

We loved our stay at Alpine! We didn't have power for almost 2 days, however that was due to the power company as most of the town was out! The cabin was very clean and well stocked. The hot tub was great! I would suggest post where the cabins are in relation to the main pool/lake in cabin descriptions for those that aren't aware of the area.

Quick getaway for our anniversary. Stayed at the Cumberland cabin. Cabis was nice , clean and in a very convenient location , near Lake Logan. Not as secluded as I had hoped, 2 other cabins nearby, one basically 30 to 40 feet away. Have stayed with the Chalets before and will again.

Wow, is all I can say. I am not exactly sure which cabin (chalet) we were in, but it was huge and absolutely amazing. There were plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and communal spaces. The particular chalet that we were in had a patio, jacuzzi, pool and bonfire area.

If I had one not so good thing to say, it would be in regards to the limited parking.

Other than that, I would recommend this location and would definitely visit again if I’m ever in the area.

House was clean and put together very well. Staff was nice to talk to and very informative. Views from the coyote were beautiful.

Amazing, will be coming back

We recently stayed in the Pine Cone cabin in the Old man cave area chalets and it was a wonderful stay! Plenty of yard for our dog to enjoy, the cabin was clean and very nice. I had to talk to the front office a couple times before check in and they were always so friendly which was great too. Great location, great cabin, and will 100% book through here again in the future.

On a whim, my husband suggested we book a sauna pod for a Saturday in January while staying in Hocking Hills. To my surprise, there was still an available time slot so I quickly booked it and waited with anticipation for our time to arrive.

We checked in at the front office where we were greeted politely and were given instructions on how to get to, enter and use our sauna pod.

The Pods are located right across the street from the Chalets so I was worried at first about having adequate privacy but once we entered the Pod I felt I was transported to the middle of the woods. My favorite part of the Pod was that it was Bluetooth equipped so I was able to play some folk music over the speakers to enhance my woodsy experience. Towels and bottled water are also provided for you in the Pod.

We booked an hour, which I thought might be too long in the heat for me personally but after taking the recommended breaks, it didn’t feel long enough. We emerged from our Pod soaking in sweat but refreshed and with every endorphin in our bodies firing. It was a fabulous experience!

Just had our first stay there, and we’ll definitely be back! A frame #11 was very cozy & well-kept. The hot tub outside was an absolute dream!

We have been renting the A frame cabins every year for our anniversary for about 10 years. each year the price has gone up and the quality has been going down. our hot tub was filthy and gross. we we're literally pulling out globs of long hair floating in with us. the water seemed funky not nice at all. they did attempt to clean it when we complained but it was still not real clean as it should be. our cabin was also invested with stink bugs. we put out or killed atleast 50 of them. for what we paid, i wouldn't expect to have these problems. or at least be offered a discount or sauna voucher or something. sadly i do belive we will go elsewhere next year...

Old Man's Cave at Hocking Hills is a magical place that's hard to capture with mere photos. As long as you don't let the crowds distract you, it's stunning beauty should leave a lasting impact. Lace up those hiking boots because some areas are strenuous with dangerous drop-offs. I don't recommend if you have walking issues.

Great location. We stayed in an A-frame. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and the hot tub was a perfect ending for a busy day! The chalets are just as they are advertised. They are beautiful cabins in wonderful places. Clean and have items you need so you don't have to bring everything with you. Hot tubs are a great touch to the relaxing visit. Great service if you need something.

Great place not far from many of the hocking hills hiking areas. The chalet was clean and nicely put together. We stayed 3 nights. We would go back pricing was far and we also brought our dog.

Good location near the Logan Lake area. We needed a cabin that was pet friendly so our choices were limited. Our cabin was very nice although we would have liked an outside table and chairs. We had a porch with hot tub , a swing and a few chairs. The grill could use an update, it was very rusty. we did use it though. This was a very wooded lot so not much outside space to play around in. The galley kitchen worked ok for us but with six people there was not a lot of stretch space. Since we spent most of the 2 days on Logan lake we were OK with the cabin size. Also we did take a swim in the office pool. It was beautiful but a bit chilly and it was a fair distance to our cabin.
We would definitely go back.

Stayed here in a few different cabins. Beautiful locations, always clean and staff are very friendly and helpful if needed. If you don't need them, you don't see them which is nice too.

Great A-Frame cabin in the woods and love place to have as home base to explore Hocking Hills. In Cabin hot tub, main pool, shared fire pits, and sauna pods (!) Are all great!

Great stay at the Aspen! We have loved every second! Peaceful, decently secluded, and so relaxing!

Very wonderful large and small cabins. We had a great company retreat and all the things we needed for a cookout was provided. Pools and hot tubs were nice and they even have Sauna pods.

Staff very courteous and accommodating! We are in Chalet #5 and it was very clean and cozy. The hot tub on back deck is amazing, it’s very private. Overall not one complaint so far.

We have been going for over a decade and love it. They always have clean cabins, answer all questions and go above to make your stay amazing. This last year has been a bit off due to Covid-19 but I highly recommend them. I already booked another stay for March

beautiful views, very clean, private balcony hot tub. there was quite a bit of snow while we were there and the roads were very well-maintained. Front desk staff (Ashley especially) was very friendly & resourceful. can't wait to go back during summer!

We had the most Amazing time. The cabin was beautiful, the kitchen was very up to date with all that you would need. The staff was always friendly and available. My only suggestion is to bring a portable wifi if you have one.

The cabin was LUXURIOUS and convenient to all of the scenic areas we wanted to visit. 3 days away there felt like forever because it was that RELAXING!! The area is absolutely STUNNING and the cabin was PERFECT. We can't wait to go back again to revisit Old Man's Cave, Rockland, Lake Logan and Ash Cave. And they were all just minutes from our cabin...perfect getaway!!

Okay, this place is awesome. The cabin we stayed in was totally clean. The hot tub felt like it was brand new! Bed was comfortable and we'll kept. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Plus it's right by all the great stuff in Hocking Hills. A+++

We stayed at Deer Run over the past weekend. Beautiful set up on top of the hill. Hiking trails directly from the yard too! Great space for the campfire and beautiful cabin all around! Will definitely be back to check out the other cabins!

My boyfriend and I came here for our 3rd time, and it just keeps getting better and better. This time we were surprised by the new Sauna Pods they had there. They are definitely worth a try if you've never experience them before. You walk into a changing area with towels and water already there waiting for you and the wonderful smell of cedar wood everywhere! Once you sit in the sauna area itself, be prepared to do some serious detoxing!!! It was very rejuvenating! We were able to gaze out of a HUGE fish eye window and onto the beautiful woods. It really was truly relaxing and something I've never experienced before. It was a nice self care hour that we got to add to our trip!!! Thanks for always being AWESOME Chalets Staff!!!!!

We are staying in side by side A-frames, one for us and one for our daughter & son-in-law, for a physically distant visit at a meeting point halfway between Iowa and Maryland. Cabins are perfect - clean and well furnished. Hot tub is very relaxing. We highly recommend the A-frames at Chalets in Hocking Hills.

loved it! our was clean and cute. Hot tub was a mazing i got a really good sleep in the bed Really enjoyed ourselves only complaint our back patio light was out but we didnt mind (less bugs).

I would highly recommend the Chalets in Hocking Hills. Our cabin exceeded our expectation. It was clean, super spacious, a/c worked exceptionally well and had everything we needed to make our stay feel like home. The office staff was friendly and helpful and the community pool was a great addition to our stay. I will definitely stay here every time I come to Hocking Hills.

Friends and I stayed in the Hidden Heights cabin last week and it was amazing; Clean, spacious, secluded, and beautiful! I cannot wait to plan a trip back.

Fireside lodge is awesome!!! We had 6 kids under 10, and 8 adults... it was PERFECT!! Kids and adults had a great time! We are definitely going to make this our summer vacation spot!!! Pool was super clean and perfect temp for the hot days! Hot tub was great for the evening! Close to hiking and canoeing! 4.5 stars!!!

Awesome place to go, especially during the covid-19 pandemic, for a little get away from home where you can still socially distance.

Booked any cabin I could get as soon as lockdowns were lifted because we needed to escape and I wanted my kids to have something nice to do this summer. We ended up staying at Fallswood Lodge, which was amazing! I opted for online check in, which was a simple process and we found everything we needed to get into the cabin ourselves easily. The staff we interacted with were always friendly and helpful, the cabin was huge, patios were all great, the private pool and the hot tub were both used every day we were there, and the bedroom situations were laid out wonderfully. We’ll be coming back to The Chalets for sure! Thanks for giving us an awesome place to get away!

We are staying at the A frame cabin and it is heaven. The place is beautiful, immaculate, centrally located to all major sites. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially when communicating online via email. The hot tub is wonderful too! Highly recommend!

We stayed at "Lake View" in Logan, OH and we were very pleased. Cabin was only a few years old, modern decor, with all the amenities you would expect. Very clean, linens provided. They offer a package with movie rentals and firewood. Nice view. The only issues i had with our cabin is there are four other cabins very close to this one, so you don't get the feel of escape one might get at other cabins. The other issue is the community pool offered to chalets guests is nearly 20 minutes away.

Cabin itself was neat and clean, with good water pressure in the showers and really nice furniture. Hot tub was clean and worked great, they allowed us to trade in dirty towels for fresh, and the cabin we started in was close to tourist attractions and Grandma Faye's general store, which was a lifesaver.

The beds and couches were extremely comfortable and you could smell that the linens were fresh! Modern in all the right ways and yet rustic in all the right ways, with lovely quilts on the beds, nice big stone fireplace, porch swing and country decor, yet updated plumbing fixtures, and lots of lighting in the cabin, as well as natural lighting.

Three small issues: 1. The cabin was really close to the road so it didn't feel as much off the beaten path as others, but not much can be done about that. 2. The kitchen was not as well outfitted as it could have been - I feel like we didn't have enough dishes, mixing bowls, cooking utensils in good condition, pots and pans, potholders, etc. I know the cabin is only meant for four people, but the kitchen supplies were REALLY minimal, even for a cabin this size. 3. The stove was really wonky - some burners were dysfunctional, so cooking was uneven. The binder warned us of this, but the solutions suggested didn't work.

All in all, a nice relaxing stay that could have been made top-notch with a little more love and attention. Good value for the money, and true, personable professionals working the front office.

Room was awesome. Had a sauna and hot tub in the cabin and on the cabin's deck. Great pool, which wasn't crowded til we got in. Great location as we were able to go to old man's cave and the falls within a few minutes drive. There is a very good fudge place right down the road and can't go wrong with BBQ.

The Hemlock House was comfortable to stay in and had a great view of the stars. We grilled chicken on the grill outside, and also lit the fire pit for warmth. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom downstairs was well lit. The stairs were creaky, but that is to be expected. They had a great pool that I think is salt water. I cannot recommend enough bring a blanket and laying down with a star gazing app. They night sky is beautiful, and you'll be able to see shooting stars.

The cabin was clean. There was lots of space between cabins, so the kids could play without disturbing others. The cabin was a good drive from the office, but the saltwater pool at the office was great. The downside to the cabin was that the floors and stairs squeaked loudly when you walked on them. The bathroom doors didn't shut all the way or got stuck shut if you were able to get them closed all the way. Overall it was a beautiful cabin and location. They seem to have many different locations to choose from.
