With over 50 years of experience under their belt, Hocking Hills Adventures knows a thing or two about what makes a successful tubing adventure. They are the only tubing option in the region with two departure locations, depending on water levels. This guarantees a great trip, no matter the conditions. 

 

Here is what you can expect from tubing with Hocking Hills Adventures: 

 

  • Routes: When river levels are high, you will tube five miles from Crocketts Run to the Canoe Livery. (3-4 hours). When river levels are low, the tour departs at Natural Rockbridge and ends at Crocketts Run. (2-3 hours)
  • Getting There: Meet at their canoe livery at 31251 Chieftain Dr, Logan, OH. They will transport you the rest of the way to the river. 
  • Tube Options: They offer a wide variety of tubes, including single, double, and cooler tubes. Some have open bottoms while others don’t. 
  • Age & Weight Restrictions: The weight limit for a single tube is 250, and 500 for a double. There is no age restriction. 

Adventure Pro Outdoors

Adventure Pro Outdoors is another fantastic tubing company in Hocking Hills. They offer one relaxing float on the Hocking River, perfect for all ages. They also host fun tubing events throughout the summer, where you can tube together with hundreds of other vacationers. 

 

Here is an overview of the tubing at Adventure Pro Outdoors:

 

  • Routes: All tubing trips follow the same three-mile route lasting 2-4 hours. 
  • Getting There: Check in at 1299 East Canal Street, Nelsonville, OH. They recommend arriving early and carpooling if possible. 
  • Tube Options: They have over 400 premium river tubes, including models with open bottoms, cup holders, headrests, and coolers. 
  • Age & Weight Restrictions: They can accommodate most weights. They do not allow children under 3 on the river. 

Hocking Hills Canoe Livery 

Hocking Hills Canoe Livery is a veteran-owned business offering family-friendly tubing adventures on the Hocking River. Enjoy a personalized and safe trip down the river with quality equipment. 

 

  • Routes: 5-mile route on Crockett’s Run 
  • Getting There: Meet at 12789 State Route 664 S, Logan, Ohio. They will take you the rest of the way in a van or bus. 
  • Age & Weight Restrictions: Participants must be at least 3 years old to go on the river
