Are you interested in bringing your horse on the Hocking Hills Trails? No problem! Just stay at Chalets at Conkles Hollow and keep your horse at  Pine Creek Horseman’s Camp. This campground is right around the corner from Conkles Hollow, so you can easily access the horse barn. The creek behind our Sycamore cabin connects to the bridle trails. The Spotted Horse Ranch

The Spotted Horse Ranch offers the closest horseback riding in the Hocking Hills to our chalets. Our Grand Butte Lodge and Evergreen cabins offer the closest lodging to the ranch. The ranch offers three different horseback rides with beautiful Appaloosa Horses. Their one-hour ride is perfect for beginners, with wranglers providing helpful tips and instructions for riders.

Uncle Buck’s Riding Stable

Uncle Buck’s Riding Stable offers three guided trail rides with healthy and well-trained horses. The Coal Bucket Trail Ride is perfect for families staying in the area, offering a gentle one-hour ride. If you are interested in a unique ride through the remnants of a historic coal mining town, then sign up for the Moonville Tunnel Ride. This option allows you to ride through the Moonville Tunnel, infamously known for the haunted tales surrounding it.
